Product Returns
Conditions Apply:
Returned items MUST be in their original, unused condition with tags and packaging (where applicable) intact.
You have 30 days from the date of purchase to return your purchase. For the Christmas period, the returns period is extended to the end of January.
Product returns will be processed within 5 working days of receiving the item(s) together with a completed returns document.
Underwear and cricket groin protection purchases are non-refundable & non-exchangeable. Just Hockey and Cricket Express may refuse to refund or exchange if items do not meet the returns criteria mentioned above.
Warranty Returns
Just Hockey/Cricket Express will facilitate a warranty return on your behalf with the supplier/brand and may require the item to be sent back to the supplier for assessment.
A dated proof of purchase must be supplied (Just Hockey and Cricket Express are not responsible for lost or misplaced receipts).
We will endeavour to process warranty returns as quickly as possible; however, as we rely on external suppliers, we are unable to provide a confirmed processing timeframe.
The supplier (not Just Hockey and Cricket Express), in accordance with their set terms & conditions, has the right to decide if there is a manufacturing issue or defect.
Depending on the assessment, an item may be repaired, replaced, refunded, or no action taken.
Cricket Bat Warranties
Cricket bats naturally develop surface cracks over time. This is a normal part of the bat’s lifecycle and does not necessarily indicate a fault or defect. Below are key points regarding bat warranties:
- Minor cracking is expected and does not affect the bat’s performance. These cracks can usually be sanded down.
- Cracks may appear during the Knocking-In process and are not always indicative of a defect.
- Cracking can result from multiple factors including improper Knocking-In, poor maintenance, or softer willow.
- The longevity of a cricket bat depends on usage and maintenance.
- The price of a bat does not necessarily reflect its durability—higher-priced bats are often made from softer willow, which provides better performance but may not last as long.
Exchanges
Exchanges may be processed for alternative items (size/colour etc).
Additional fees will apply if exchanging for a more expensive product. Additional shipping fees will be incurred if the alternative product is being shipped (unless the original item was returned due to an error in shipping).
Return Your Order In Store
Items can be returned to any of our Just Hockey and Cricket Express stores.
Please have a physical or digital copy of your order confirmation email available for the store manager. Refunds or exchanges can be processed on the spot; however, if a replacement product is only available at another branch, processing may take up to 5 working days plus up to 3 days for shipping.

Return Freight
Return freight charges are not covered by Just Hockey / Cricket Express. Note: if you have been sent the wrong item in error, we will arrange free return freight. Please contact us as soon as possible at

How Will I Receive My Refund
Your refund will be processed as a reversal of your original payment, based on your order method. Postage/shipping refunds are not applicable, so you will receive a refund for the product value only.
Credit Card: Refund will be processed back onto your card online or in-store. This usually takes a few days to clear, but may take longer over weekends and public holidays.
Gift Card: Refund will be processed back onto your gift card online or in-store. In some cases, you may receive a replacement gift card number.
Afterpay: Refund will be made back onto your Afterpay account. Once processed by Just Hockey/Cricket Express, it is the customer’s responsibility to follow up with Afterpay. This usually takes a few days, but may take longer over weekends and public holidays.
